So I'm working full time now.

In that I'm scheduled 40 hours a week from now on.

But I'm still Part-Time, somehow, and so get no benefits or chance for promotion.

Also, I still get to fill out an availability chart, but it no longer gets looked at. Getting better at sorting videos takes priority over school, family, or learning skills for an actual job.

So I'm looking again. If anybody knows of any job openings, let me know.

that fucking blows dude

you should try for a student assistant position for the state, decent pay, nothing special, but the hours are flexible out the ass, except you absolutely can't work on weekends, even if you wanted to, y'know, for extra money, either that or Sears electronics, there, you get commission :-)

Re: that fucking blows dude

I actually plan on trying the student assistant thing, as soon as I can get details as to where to take the test and stuff. Can you help me out with that?

Re: that fucking blows dude

no test, you just have to find an opening, you only test for full time postions, so if you're looking for a job with benefits, you need to look at www.spb.ca.gov and look at their exam bulletins for office assistant (general), it's an entry level position and if you can type 40 wpm, you can get a typing certificate and be an office assistant (typing) you get more money that way
